Well at College is a high quality, flexible central learning resource designed to help colleges deliver cost-effective learner entitlement programmes, at the same time enabling students to build knowledge on a wide range of life skills to support their main learning programmes.

Aimed at 14-19 year old full-time learners and work-based apprentices, this unique e-learning platform provides colleges with comprehensive learning materials including online self study modules for students and an extensive resource bank of lesson plans and teaching materials to support tutorial and enrichment programmes.

Well at College supports the delivery of diverse portfolio of study skills and independent learning opportunities which can help encourage student progression, career and personal development. The content structure and themes within Well at College also contribute to the Ofsted Inspection process and the Joint Area Review, by seeking to:

• Increase levels of student interest and participation in tutorial and key skill sessions
• Improve attendance patterns and subsequent retention and achievement within the main programme
• Allow the college to rationalise staffing levels, class contact time and average class size
• Provide tutors with online and paper-based resources to assist consistent, high quality delivery across the college
• Develop student interest and awareness in a broad range of life and social skills, by providing a comprehensive portfolio of online resources
• Encourage differentiation through a range of additional web-based learning activities and progression opportunities
• Encourage community groups, local agencies and employers to play an increasing role within education.
